Grifin News and Discussions / 16 to Life Filmmakers at Sept 11 meeting

The writer/director, a few actors, and at least one of the producers from the movie 16 TO LIFE will be at our meeting. They will have clips from the movie, the music video, and will be answering our questions about their film and their careers.
Drag yourself out of bed, bring a buddy (or group of friends) and take advantage of the chance to ask these people questions about being filmmakers.
If you want to see the movie before getting to ask them questions, you're in luck, it will premiere Friday night at Mindframe and play at least a week.
It was filmed all on location in Iowa. Saturday there will be cast and crew at the GRIFIN meeting answering questions.
If you are too lazy or too busy to make the free-to-the-public meeting, there will be a Q&A between the 7 and 9 PM showings. The writer/director and lead female actor, and others will just be at the meeting (10 AM Mindframe) but there will be supporting actors and the producers at the Saturday night screening.
Some of these people are from Iowa, some from LA. They've worked multiple movies and on TV shows like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, CSI, The Young and the Restless, Private Practice, . . . check IMDB this is already going long and you get the picture.
I suggest coming Saturday morning and seeing what they have to say and I'll bet you want to see the movie.

I am waiting for US cellular to release the HTC droid, supposed to be out soon. I'll have to see if the same lens hack works. I know there's a junk DVD burner around here somewhere...
